A few months ago we were commissioned with a decoration project, and the truth is that we had a major challenge: the budget was quite tight, with a few thousand dollars to give a new life to an apartment by the beach in Redondo, LA. Since we didn’t want to sacrifice style or quality, we decided to go to Target to look for inspiration and, of course, products that fit within the financial limit.
The first thing we found was the seasonal decoration section, and there we were already excited. The variety was amazing and there were stylish modern pieces that looked much more expensive than they actually were. The first item on our list was matching lamps, and we certainly stumbled upon luck: we found the new collection developed by Rifle Paper Co. for Target, and we immediately knew that we were going to leave there with several of them.

We needed to add a subtle touch of decoration to the walls of one of the bedrooms that was too sober, and painting it completely was not an option. This wall light not only incorporates an aesthetically refined design, but is also extremely practical thanks to its adjustable arm, ideal for illuminating specific areas in any environment. For the study desk in this decorating job, we purchased the Strawberry Fields desk lamp from Rifle Paper Co. x Target, a small but notable addition to this space. It has a brass-tone metal base and a pleated linen shade adorned with a charming floral print, aligned with the design of the others that we place next to the bed.
The contrast between the metal of the base and the softness of the pleated linen lampshade creates a very interesting visual balance, which is neither bombastic nor scandalous. The lamp is priced at $50.
A Flowery Living Room All Year Round With This Rifle Paper Co. X Target Lamp
To place lighting points and in two places in the living room we placed two Rifle Paper Co. x Target table lamps, which come with a lampshade with a blue base print with colorful flowers, and the ceramic body is in a beautiful navy blue.
The shade, made of pleated fabric, displays Rifle Paper Co.’s captivating Mayfair print, a riot of floral delicacy that evokes the beauty of nature and goes perfectly with the general idea we were developing for this particular project. Each of these lamps cost $60.
The other model in this size comes with a natural jute fiber lampshade, with a small and delicate floral fabric border and the ceramic body is painted in a very soft and cozy pearly white, perfect for contrasting against a dark wall or solid or patterned wallpaper. It is also priced at $60.
