We have been visiting Seattle frequently, for work reasons, a city where it rains much of the year, and the rest of the year as well. My partner is a Crocs fan, and when I say “fanatic” I mean he has at least 10 pairs of clogs (according to the latest survey in her closet).
But I found a flaw in her logic: all the Crocs he has are for warm weather, because we live in Redondo Beach, where we have summer almost all year round. Now that we are spending long periods in the rainy capital of America, Val had to buy some Crocs for the cold. We went to a Crocs store to try several, and according to my personal advisor on the most comfortable clogs in the world, these are the three best for the season.
The Crocs Dylan Chelsea Boots
For the days when the rain takes over the city, and the surfaces become slippery and treacherous, Val bought the Crocs Dylan Chelsea Boots for everyday wear. The design with elastic bands on the sides makes them easy to put on and take off from your feet, with the help of the tab on the heel.
The subtle texture mimics the look of leather but is made from Crocs’ signature clog material. After testing them on several rainy days in Seattle, we can say that they are easy to clean and dry quickly. We paid $69.99 for them, a very good price, quite similar to other Crocs clogs.
The Cold Is Not a Problem for These Unexpected Crocs
If you imagine traveling to the moon on NASA’s next space mission, the Croc OverPuff boots will help you prepare for the training program. Now, if you also imagine giving a fearless touch to your day, just because you want to appear a little more playful and daring (because first dead than boring), set your eyes on these crazy-cool Crocs boots.
The upper is padded and puffed, waterproof on the outside, and warm on the inside with a fleece lining. The sturdy, textured sole adds extra security when walking on wet surfaces, adding excellent traction. They are available in three colors: black, dragon fruit, and cyber yellow. The price was $99.99 when we found them in the Crocs store.
Simpler Crocs Design, but Safe for Everyday Use
These clogs are part of the Crocs Work professional line, known for their comfort and durability. They are still Crocs in their essence, but they can be easily combined with formal office outfits, or in other contexts such as hospitals or laboratories. In fact, any other worker who is on their feet would also appreciate wearing one of these Crocs: Nurses, doctors, nursing assistants, cooks, waiters, cleaning staff in restaurants and cafeterias, hairstylists, masseuses and makeup artists, among others, can enjoy the benefits of these non-slip shoes.
The entire contour of the foot is closed, which protects it in case of falling objects or light blows. This model is called Crocs On The Clock LiteRide, and they offer non-slip traction on the soles in the aforementioned work environments (and many others). The regular price of these clogs is $64.99, but you may be able to find them on a limited-time sale for $54.99.
In the end, Val brought these three pairs home and can’t stop wearing them every day: they seem to have become ingrown and I think I’m going to have to call a surgeon to remove them from her feet. She loves these Crocs, a lot. Wanna check some other models? Take a look at of Crocs dedicated section with tons of their shoes tested and reviewed.
