Sephora is the one-stop-shop par excellence for those who want to make a single trip when it comes to stocking up on makeup, perfumes, and even seasonal fashion essentials. It can have a very wide range of prices and qualities, with products for several hundred dollars and others for a couple of bucks, all from the most reputable brands.
Digging a little through the products on sale, we found an offer that we thought was a system error, but no: it’s a real offer, and it’s still on air, and it will save you $64 dollars on makeup.
Pat McGrath Labs — Luxury Makeup on a Budget
The Pat McGrath Labs brand is recognized worldwide in the makeup field, being one of those that sets the trends and the way forward along with other renowned brands. It offers high-quality and intensely pigmented products, inspired by the latest fashion trends.
One of the products that we have found in the Sephora sale is Mothership I: Subliminal by Pat McGrath Labs. It has everything from light to deep shades, to create a smokey eye base or to define the crease of the eyelid. Three shades of blue stand out, such as an exquisite cobalt blue to a more pearlescent blue and a light blue: they are among the palettes that are being used in the fall-winter 2024 season.
Subliminal, Sublime, and Subversive: The Pat McGrath Labs Eyeshadow Palette
You can create rebellious eyes, with a chic, sexy, and classic spirit, for a day-to-day look, or you can also dare to have a more contrasting combination, with a pearlescent blue on the upper eyelid and a little black on the edge of the lower eyelid.
These are the included colors: Skinshow Nude (champagne platinum), Ultimate Taupe (soft beige brown), Lilac Dusk (muted lavender), Depth (ash brown), Substance (cool beige brown), Xtreme Black (ultimate black), Pale Gold 002 (cool platinum gold), Astral White (White with blue flash), VR Violet (pinky violet duochrome), Blitz Blue (vivid sapphire).
How to Use the Color Palette for a Stupendous Look
Follow these steps to recreate the Ritual Eyes look, a sultry smoky brown with a touch of shimmering gold on the tear duct. Start by applying Substance to your lids using a blending brush, and build intensity with your fingertips. Next, use Ultimate Taupe in the crease, blending outward and wrapping the color around the lower lash line. Increase dimension by applying Depth to the outer contour of the crease and elongate the eye shape while gently blending. For an extra touch, apply Skinshow Nude to the center of the eyelid and brow bone, and finish by highlighting the tear duct with Pale Gold 002.
For a bold and dramatic look, try Blue Rebellion, a smoky shimmer in deep midnight blue. Start by applying Blitz Blue all over the eyelid, pressing the pigment with your finger to intensify the color. Using a blending brush, bring Xtreme Black into the crease, tear duct and lower lash line to define the shape of the eye. Add dimension by applying Astral White to the center of the eyelid with your finger, and for extra shine, use a damp brush and dab Astral White on the tear duct.
For a multidimensional look, Virtual Reality offers a set of changing blue-violet colors. Start by blending Lilac Dusk as a base, bringing it outwards and to the brow bone. Add Substance in the crease for added depth and definition, especially near the lower lash line. Take color to the next level by pressing VR Violet on your eyelid with your fingertips until you achieve the desired color-changing effect.
The regular price of this gorgeous color palette from Pat McGrath Labs is $128, but it’s on sale for $64 for a limited time, or a 50% discount. According to Sephora’s website, there are limited quantities so they could sell out soon.
