A few weeks ago, I realized that the refrigerator was about to cross the rainbow. It all started when, one morning, I found the door wide open. At first, I thought it was me, half asleep and distracted, or that a hungry ghost had stopped by for a snack in the middle of the night. It seemed like the door had a life of its own. But no, I was just failing. Between the engine that sounded like a helicopter and the refrigerator that barely cooled, his retirement was imminent. It was time to go back to Best Buy to replace my refrigerator, because I remembered I had seen some deals on their website the other day.
When I saw the discounts there were… I couldn’t believe how good they were. So much so that I took the opportunity to change a couple more things in my kitchen that were already on the verge of telling me “boss, I’m tired”, plus they were a little old and not very efficient in the use of electricity. Here are some of the discounts I found at Best Buy on selected Frigidaire appliances, some up to $1,450.
The Frigidaire Refrigerator Reduced by $1,450 at Best Buy
This was the first refrigerator I considered. I saw it in the store, and it attracted me like a magnet. “And it’s on sale,” my man Gary at the Best Buy in Torrance told me. According to what he told me, this Frigidaire Gallery two-door refrigerator promises to keep food fresh and flavorful for longer, preventing it from spoiling too quickly.
It has a preservation system packed with technologies that reduce food waste, such as its patented cooling system (which I don’t know how it works but it sounds futuristic), advanced CrispSeal drawers, and an air and water filter. The SpaceWise system makes the most of interior space with clever solutions such as door condiment storage, a sliding shelf and a snack area. It is Energy Star certified, meaning it is highly efficient in the use of electricity. The regular price is $3,499.99, but it has a discount of $1,450, so the final price is $2,049.99. This particular one is too big for what I needed, but it tempted me strongly.
This Is the Kitchen Range I Didn’t Know I Wanted: It’s $1,000 off at Best Buy
The Frigidaire Gallery 6.0 Cu. Ft. Freestanding Gas Total Convection Range is a freestanding stainless steel gas range that offers a wide variety of functions for cooking your favorite foods. It’s quite similar to the one I had until now, but mine is like its great-great-grandmother.
It has a total convection system, so you could cook evenly and quickly, saving time and energy. Plus, it features five gas burners, including an 18,000 BTU fast-boil burner and a center oval burner with an integrated cast iron griddle, giving you flexibility to cook different types of foods.
The stove also includes a 6.0 cubic foot convection oven with multiple cooking modes including baking, roasting, air frying, slow cooking, steam baking, and more. The oven is self-cleaning and the triple-insulated tempered glass door helps keep heat in more effectively. I bought it for $1,099.99, so I saved $1,000 because its original price is $2,099.99.
I Took a Chance and Changed the Microwave to Match: I Saved $100
The Frigidaire Gallery 1.9 cu. ft. Countertop Microwave is a sleek, efficient appliance designed to complement any kitchen, and it suited me nicely to keep everything in the same design style in my kitchen in Redondo Beach.
Its stainless steel finish gives it a modern and sophisticated look, while its compact size makes it ideal for small spaces. A kitchen with stainless steel on all sides is synonymous with cleanliness, because bacteria and fungi do not easily adhere to this type of metal. Its sensor cooking feature automatically adjusts power and time for optimal results, ensuring your meals are cooked to perfection without the need to guess what heat level to set. The price is $379.99, reduced by $100 from its original price of $479.99.
This Is the Frigidaire Refrigerator I Decided On: Best Buy Saved Me $600
After much research, I decided on the Frigidaire – 17.6 Cu. Ft. Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator, also in stainless steel in stainless steel. From the first moment, I loved its elegant and modern design that has nothing to envy of other brands like LG or Whirlpool. The stainless steel gives a sophisticated touch to my kitchen and combines perfectly with my other appliances from the same line that I purchased together.
But beyond its aesthetics, this refrigerator is a true marvel. The interior space is much larger than I expected, and the doors do not open, like my old refrigerator that has already gone into retirement. It has a very clever layout and the adjustable glass shelves adapt according to needs. The fruit and vegetable drawers are perfect for keeping my products fresher for longer, and the water and ice dispenser makes my life easier on a daily basis.
One of the features I appreciate the most is the cooling system. My food always stays fresh and at the right temperature, and the freezer is big enough to store everything I need. Additionally, the refrigerator is very quiet, making it practically unnoticeable in my kitchen. I paid $1,199.99, which is $600 less than its regular price of $1,799.99.
