When you think of Black Friday, or that kind of sales frenzy, Aldi probably doesn’t come to mind as the first choice, but you’re often wrong to ignore that this is one of the best-priced stores in the United States. You could be overlooking, for example, its interesting offer of decorative objects that, for the fall-winter season of 2024, could give your home a very special touch for a few bucks.
Just the other day, I decided to shop around Aldi, without any particular plan. It was one of those quick visits, just to replenish the basics. But as often happens, I got carried away, and ended up exploring each hallway.
It Was Just When I Came Across the Seasonal Decoration Section of Aldi
Among the finds that were there in Aldi’s seasonal decor aisle was an adorable little Merry Moments pre-lit table tree. It was small, just 2 feet tall, and came decorated with multicolored lights for just $8.99.
Plus, I found a lovely mint ceramic tree with LED lights and a built-in timer, perfect for when you want the Christmas lights to last without having to remember to turn them off, and you also don’t want a gigantic tree lighting up the room and adding zeros to your electric bill: This last one was only $9.99, so I grabbed a couple to put in different places around the house.
Spruce Up Your Doors With These Wreaths
Later, I came across a shelf full of wreaths from Huntington Home’s Harvest Collection. The first one I saw was a eucalyptus wreath with small white pumpkins, ready to hang and welcome autumn into the home. It was only $14.99.
The second was a golden version of the eucalyptus, which looked classic and elegant, perfect for the hallway or doorway. Both had an impeccable design, as if they were ready to shine in a decoration magazine: the price was the same, so I couldn’t resist the temptation of grabbing one of each.
My Favorite Seasonal Decor Find at Aldi So Far
When I thought I had enough, I found what, so far, is my favorite decoration product for the upcoming Christmas. These are aromatic candles that are also snow globes. They come in two scents, peppermint buttercream and white woods musk. The first is a mix between refreshing and sweet, a revitalizing aroma and a combination that evokes creamy and soft buttercream, achieving a fragrance that is reminiscent of the delicious Christmas mint cream.
The other scent (I bought 3 of this, because it is my favorite) is more sophisticated and subtle, inspired by the winter forest. The aroma of “white woods” brings that earthy and fresh touch of a snow-covered forest, while the musk provides an enveloping warmth that gives it an elegant touch. It is the type of aroma that fills any space with calm, ideal for a quiet winter afternoon.
Both candles, with their well-balanced aromas, create a cozy and magical atmosphere. The snow globe on the lid is an added detail that transports you directly to a winter landscape, and each of these candles is priced at $6.99.
