Adidas running shoes are among the most valued and best-selling in the world, and it is very clear why: They adapt to all types of runners, from the most amateurs who do a couple of miles a day, to those who travel around the world competing (and winning) marathons. Several lines, such as the Boost or the Ultraboost, have become the favorites of running fans, but lately we have been analyzing the Terrex Agravic 3 Trail Running Shoes.
We had the female runners in our newsroom try the Adidas Terrex Agravic 3, after attending an event organized by a famous American shoe chain, in which they were offered several pairs of this new model. After testing them for a couple of weeks, here’s an overall summary of what they had to say about it, both good and bad.
The All-New Adidas Terrex Agravic 3 Trail Running Shoes
Although initially various of the ladies in the office primarily had their sights set on the Terrex Speed Ultra for its speed design, upon testing the Adidas Terrex Agravic 3, they quickly changed their minds and appreciated its performance in challenging terrain.
The Terrex Agravic 3 is ideal for daily training on trails, rather than running on asphalt, but that does not mean that they cannot be used in the city with comfort and good performance. It is characterized by being firmer, tighter, more rigid and, above all, very stable.
During the two-week test, the stability of the Agravic 3 was highlighted as it protected the ankles on the challenging technical terrain. We found that these shoes are perfect for those looking for confidence and stability on difficult terrain.
The Weight of the Adidas Terrex Agravic 3 Is a Plus
Weighing 9.1 oz (258 g in women’s size 8), an 8 mm drop, and a 34 mm/26 mm stack height, these shoes are designed for those who need a secure footing and good grip on your daily workouts. The Lightstrike 2.0 midsole, along with a Continental rubber outsole, offers a firm ride and great resistance on technical surfaces.
The Terrex Agravic 3 features a low-volume, slightly snug and secure upper design, making it ideal for people with normal to narrow feet looking for an everyday trail shoe. Design details include a straight toe that tapers quickly and a fitted midfoot with a strong gusseted tongue that provides a secure fit even on uneven terrain.
The Price of the Adidas Terrex Agravic 3 Trail Running Shoes
The Terrex Agravic 3 is available in black, priced at $130, but they are also available in an amber shade, which is on sale for $98 for a limited time. For women, they are available in sizes 5 to 11, but the entire spectrum of sizes is also available for men.
These models are comparable to other trail running sneakers, such as the ASICS Gel-Trabuco and the super popular Brooks Cascadia, and are an improvement over the Terrex Agravic 2. While some of us mentioned that the transition could be somewhat clumsy and The slightly firm midsole, stability, safety, and grip of the Agravic 3 make them an excellent option to face rocky, soft and technical trails with confidence.
